WELLNESS PROGRAM: AMBA Blood Screening Event ERIE - On Saturday, October 2, 2010, the Presque Isle Rotary Club will be sponsoring a Wellness Program: AMBA Blood Screening Event. The screening will be held at the Millcreek Township Municipal Building, located at 3608 West 26 th Street, Erie, PA 16506. The Wellness Program is scheduled to begin at 6:00am and go until about 10:00am. The price for the AMBA Panel is $35.00. Five Coronary Disease, one Diabetes, six Anemia, three Kidney Disease, and nine Liver Disease tests are included in this cost, along with nine other tests. Four optional tests, including Prostate Specific Antigen, Thyroxine, Insure Colon Rectal Kit, and Cardio CRP will be available at an additional cost, which varies per test, and will require a separate script form your physician. On Saturday, September 18, 2010 the Conneaut Valley Lions Club and the Conneaut Lake Lions Club will be sponsoring a wellness program at the Conneaut Lake Fire Department. AMBA Blood Screening, as well as Glaucoma Screening and Blood Pressure Testing will be offered for the $35 AMBA Blood Screening fee plus a $5 donation at the door to the Lions. Several optional tests are available for an additional fee with a separate script from a Physician.

This is a unique opportunity to have your blood and eye health checked for a very low fee. Even if you have insurance, the cost of this screening is much lower than most deductibles. If you don't have insurance, these tests would normally cost much more.
