Carburetor Serial Numbers
The transmission serial number is located on top of the transmission case below the shift bell crank and on a label on the right side (Figure 12). The carburetor serial number (Figure 13) is located on the left side of the carburetor body. Enter these numbers on the chart in the Quick Reference Data table at the front of this. There are a couple of different Walbro carburetors for that engine. It will depend upon the LMT numbers or other numbers stamped into the carburetor itself. Serial Numbers or Serial Codes: Serial numbers, containing 2 or 3 letters, followed by 5 or 6 numbers, are on all gas models, except the Gas Go-Anywhere Grill. Charcoal grills use serial codes containing 1 or 2 letters, rather than complete serial numbers.
Beginning 10/1/2012, all charcoal models have another code prefix followed by numbers printed on the damper and the outer carton barcode. This is NOT the code to use when registering the grill.
