Fatal Error During Installation Hp Printer Windows Xp
We have an HP Photosmart C7280 All-in-One printer that we have been using with our Sony VAIO desktop for at least most of the past 18-24 months. We changed banks in June. Easyusetools_for Keygen_mapcheck_metacheck. The new bank's Website failed to interact with the printer; they advised us to uninstall and reinstall it. Ever since then, we have been completely unable to use the printer.
HP's 'service' staff give us varied and/or confusing instructions. One instruction was that the printer is not compatible with Windows XP Service Pack 3. (We cannot use the original CD-ROM for the printer at this time and cannot afford to replace it.) We have had our Sony VAIO, which has Windows XP Media Center Edition, Service Pack 3, for over three years. We have had numerous problems with it--it is slow, some programs hang and/or crash, etc. We are skeptical about reverting to SP2 from SP3, but if this is in fact necessary, how should we do that? We could not find any relevant information on Microsoft's Help pages. Thanks, SecurityGuy!
However, we have a related question first: The messages below, in chronological order, indicate HP's recommended downloads for our printer, but that combination does not work. Do you, or does anyone else, have suggestions for solving our problem with the C7280? We have been working on this with HP for at least two months and still do not have a workable solution. We therefore downloaded 100_228_PS_AIO_02_Full_Net_enu_NB.exe. Because it did not work with the 'HP C7200 Series' driver, we also downloaded PS_AIO_02_100_009.exe. The Website we needed to reinstall the printer forstill does not recognize this printer.
